【内容提要】本文评估文化社会学强范式在经验研究中的解释力及其理论承诺与实践困境。强范式强调文化的自主性、结构性与因果解释，但在应用中面临概念模糊、脱离行动者视角、阐释过度个性化、因果解释泛化和忽视结构条件等问题。为此，本文提出应以行动者为基础，通过公共文化与个人文化的互动，构建边界清晰、结构明确的文化测量方案，并结合制度与结构因素，围绕“谜题型”议题形成可迁移的类型化文化解释模式。

Harnessing the Explanatory Power of Culture: A Reflection on the Strong Program in Cultural Sociology

Abstract: This paper evaluates the explanatory power of the strong program in cultural sociology in empirical research, focusing on the tension between its theoretical commitments and practical difficulties. While the strong program emphasizes cultural autonomy, structural interpretation, and causal explanation, its application faces several challenges, including conceptual ambiguity, detachment from actors'’ perspectives, overly individualized interpretations, and the generalization of cultural causality that neglects structural conditions. To address these issues, the paper proposes an actor-centered approach that builds cultural measures with clear boundaries and structures through the interaction between public culture and personal culture, and that integrates institutional and structural factors to develop transferable, typified cultural explanations for “puzzle-driven” research questions.
